Pung-dong/Siksa-dong Yon Oriental Clinic
Customized Herbal Medicine Prescriptions

Hello, I am Dr. Ji-yeon Hong, Director of Yon Oriental Clinic.
It has been a long time since I posted a collection of herbal medicine prescription cases. It's been a while, but I am ready to keep going strong.

I have provided customized herbal medicine prescriptions to address various symptoms such as loss of appetite, indigestion, atopy, nosebleeds, growth issues, feeling of heat, and physical fatigue. I am always grateful to see such good improvements. I have selected and shared a few of those cases here.

Treatment Cases

Key Improvement Cases
from Yon Oriental Clinic

Feeling of heat, indigestion, dizziness
Symptom 01

Feeling of heat, indigestion, dizziness

The patient visited us complaining of a feeling of heat in the skin. They had received allergy injections with no improvement, and experienced severe symptoms where their body felt cold but their face felt hot. Redness was also visible to the naked eye. Through various examinations, we diagnosed severe digestive issues and a sensation of coldness in the lower abdomen.

We began a 3-month treatment plan including herbal decoctions, acupuncture/pharmacopuncture, and thermal therapy. The patient started showing significant improvement after just one course of herbal medicine. They continue to receive treatment diligently and are maintaining good health.
Loss of appetite, fatigue
Symptom 02

Loss of appetite, fatigue

The patient presented with symptoms of loss of appetite and physical fatigue. This student had always had a small appetite, frequent indigestion, and weak stamina since childhood.

We prescribed herbal medicine to normalize digestive function, and after one course, both appetite and overall condition improved significantly. Although they usually felt exhausted at the start of a new semester, they showed no such issues and experienced a great boost in stamina. We concluded the treatment by scheduling seasonal herbal medicine in spring and autumn to maintain their physical condition.
Herbal medicine for exam prep
Symptom 03

Herbal medicine for exam prep

Our clinic sees many growing children and students preparing for entrance exams. This student visited us two years ago for Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), loss of appetite, and indigestion. After 3 months of herbal treatment, they improved and now take herbal medicine every season to strengthen their stamina.

Once again, a prescription was provided to treat digestive symptoms and fatigue. We plan to help them get through this semester well and meet again in the upcoming summer.
Nosebleeds, fatigue
Symptom 04

Nosebleeds, fatigue

This is the case of a student who suffered from weakened stamina and consecutive nosebleeds for several days. They had previously taken herbal medicine for digestive issues, which improved their appetite and digestion. However, as they prepared for entrance exams, their stamina dropped, leading to persistent nosebleeds.

After one course of herbal medicine, the student is managing their stamina well and has maintained a state free of nosebleeds. As they are an exam candidate, they are scheduled to continue treatment through the summer to ensure they stay strong until the exam.
Loss of appetite, atopy
Symptom 05

Loss of appetite, atopy

The patient had a small appetite since childhood and suffered from atopy, headaches, and indigestion. They were prone to stress, and their digestive function was generally low. They were in their final year of university preparing for employment; I fondly remember how happy we were when they landed a job during their treatment.

We combined herbal decoctions with acupuncture for 3 months. Their overall condition, atopic symptoms, and headaches all improved, and most importantly, their appetite increased significantly, much to the patient's satisfaction.
Growth
Symptom 06

Healthy growth

This child visited us for healthy growth, though they did not have any specific health problems. In children, when their joints and muscles have not yet hardened, correction or treatment is much more effective and rapid.

We administered a 3-month growth-focused herbal treatment alongside acupuncture and Chuna manual therapy. As a result, both their height and weight percentages increased significantly, and they are growing healthily.

"To everyone who visits our clinic with various symptoms and concerns,
Yon Oriental Clinic will help you regain a healthy daily life with our sincere, customized herbal medicine."
