Opening an Oriental Medicine Clinic
for women and children in Ilsan!

Hello! I am Hong Ji-yeon, the director of Yon Oriental Medicine Clinic, scheduled to open in Pung-dong, Ilsan on February 19, 2021.

In this first post, I would like to introduce the clinic and myself. I thought it would be easy to write, but now that I'm starting, it's harder than expected.

First, let me introduce myself briefly. I was born and raised in Seoul, and I graduated from Yonsei University with a degree in English Literature.

My Story

Diverse Clinical Experience and a Mother's Heart

I briefly worked as a journalist, but as my health declined and I felt it wasn't the right fit for me, I returned to my studies and graduated from the College of Korean Medicine at Kyung Hee University and Dongguk University.

After graduation, I gained diverse clinical experience while working as a lead clinician for many years. Although it was challenging to treat such a high volume of patients daily, it provided an excellent opportunity to encounter and treat a wide variety of cases.

As a mother raising children myself, I focused heavily on studying and treating pediatric and gynecological conditions. It is my hope that Yon Oriental Medicine Clinic will be a place where women and children can receive comfortable treatment and find healing.
