Starting a healthy diet
Hello. I am Ji-yeon Hong, director of Yon Korean Medicine Clinic. It has been a while, so I would like to talk about daily health.
With the prolonged lifestyle of staying at home due to COVID-19, stress has increased and many people are enjoying food delivery, leading to weight gain. Especially for us mothers, stress is compounded by taking care of children and preparing meals, which leads to a vicious cycle of overeating and weight gain.
Since opening the clinic, I also haven't been able to exercise well and have been eating late-night snacks, so I have gained a little weight. Unlike young people with high energy metabolic rates, as we age, the amount, timing, and types of food we eat all play a significant role in our weight.
